Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is a national ministry helping over 1 million people in need each year through more than 140 affiliates, representing a partnership of over 9,000 churches and 6,000 community-based organizations and 300,000 volunteers in 29 states and Puerto Rico. People who need food, clothing, shelter, budgeting assistance, counseling and family help–all kinds of needs–are referred to the Love INC Clearinghouse by churches, agencies and others who know of our ministry.
Love INC works cooperatively with helping agencies to analyze individual needs, verifying their validity and discovering the underlying cause.
The helping church takes over where social service agencies leave off. Through the use of a talent inventory of each helping church, needs of the individual are matched with resources in the local church. Individuals are able to provide for a wide variety of physical, social, financial and spiritual needs.
The Love INC Clearinghouse follows through with each family or individual helping to insure that their needs were met. Love INC and the local church work together to provide for an ongoing relationship between the family or individual and the church.
